NEWELL, William "Bill" - Bill went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 85th year. Loving wife of Betty Ann for 55 wonderful years.
Cherished father of Elizabeth (Derek) and Robert (Kathy).
Proud grandpa of Joseph, Samantha (Blake), Joshua, Kennedi and Olivia. Great-grandpa of Michael, Marshall and Delilah. Dear brother of Jack (Marlene).
Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Florence Newell. He will be greatly missed by extended family and friends.
Bill was a devoted family man who always enjoyed being outdoors camping and gardening, but faith was certainly important as well. Bill was active in the Sunday School department at Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years.
He was a letter carrier for 35 years with Canada post and shortly after retirement, he became a school bus driver for Durham Ways for over 10 years.
