McCullough JosephMcCULLOUGH, Joseph ‘Joe’  -

February 3, 1927 - , March 17, 2023

Passed away peacefully, with his son Victor, granddaughters Tammy-Jo and Amanda and grandson-in-law Kevin by his side, on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 9:17pm at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 96.

Joe was a proud Canadian with Irish heritage.

God took him to his final resting place on Saint Patrick’s Day.

His wife, Sylvia, was fortunate to have such a loving and caring husband for the past 68 years.

His sons, Michael and Victor, were blessed to experience so much in life from a father who was a role model in every sense of the word.

Joe’s sense of humour provided family and friends with so many laughs over the years. Many fond memories will come to light to all who were blessed to have met Joseph. His late sons Steve and Gary have their Dad returned to the final resting place.

Joseph will be missed by his wife Sylvia, sons Victor and Michael, daughter-in-law Ruth, grandchildren Amanda (Kevin), Tammy-Jo (Tim) and Ashley (Andrew), great-grandchildren Austin, Ayden, Ethan and Calli, and many other family and friends.

Predeceased by his sons Stephen and Gary, granddaughter Tracy and siblings Cecil, Jim, Mona, Nora, Alice and Anna.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 3 p.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (1314 Oxford St., Oshawa). A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Alano Club (200 Thornton Rd. N.).
