MINACS, Tara Anne (Whitley)Minacs  -

July 17, 1972 - March 20, 2023

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, mother, niece, and friend.

Tara passed away in her home surrounded in love, with her closest family by her side.

Forever loved daughter of Karen Whitley, David and Debbie Whitley, cherished and devoted mother of Wade (Justin), loving niece of Marcia.

Tara will be lovingly remembered by extended family - the Smith's and Minacs’ and lifelong friends who have selflessly supported her throughout her difficult journey.

She fought her battle with great strength, courage, and dignity, always concerned about her family.

She leaves us with a certainty of her never ending joy of living.

Tara’s greatest love in life was her son Wade and her family. She cherished every moment with her son. Tara always said “He makes my heart smile.” Their unique relationship and bond of love will live on forever.

Tara, there are not enough words to thank you for your presence, your kind heart and the endless love you gave so freely. Your memory lives in each, and every one of us. We will love and carry you in our hearts forever.

Our family would like to thank all Tara’s PSW’s and nurses (Wen and Mona) for the wonderful care they gave her.

Visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, on Monday, March 27th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 28th at 12 noon.
