DeMAEYER, Marlene May  -  It is with deep sadness that we share news of the passing of our beloved momma Marlene May DeMaeyer (Owens) born in Lindsey Ontario, September 10, 1942.

She passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer March 24, 2023 at the age of 80, in Oshawa Ontario.

She is reunited with her eldest daughter Kelly Ann who passed away spring 2022.

Marlene will be missed by her two daughters Judith Elaine, Karen Michelle and son in law Ryan. She was a loving Nana to Brandon and Katie May,(spouses Mackenzie and Brenden).

She adored and loved all of her great grand children Logan, Zaiden, Mozes, and Silas, they always made her beautiful blue eyes sparkle.

She is reunited with her first grandson Christopher.
Koi is going to miss his special nana dearly, she loved him unconditionally.

Marlene grew up in Lindsey with two caring brothers, she is reunited with Wayne who passed away in early spring of 2022 (his beautiful wife Louise) and David, with four loving, caring sisters Blod (her husband John), and reunited with her sisters Barb, June, and Betty. Marlene was a loving aunt to Sandra and Kim. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

We will all miss her kind and loving nature, but will always be grateful for the light and love she brought to all of us.

She will live in our hearts forever and always.

Further details regarding burial information and celebration of life details will be provided at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to be made to the Ontario Cancer Society.
