Peacefully, with her family by her side at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at 84 years of age.
Beloved wife of John for 61 years.
Beautifully cherished mother of Gary, Stephen (Colleen), Susan, John (Nicolle) and Joanne (Daniel).
Loving and devoted Grandma of Jerica (Dylan), Travis, Tyler (Nadya), Johnny (Erin), Daniel (Lisa), Holly, Nathan (Judy), Nicholas, Braydon and Rachael and Great Grandma to Fern Anastasia.
Dear sister of Patricia, Erica and the late Roy. Joan will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Thursday May 11th from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.
