BURTCH, Richard Charles - Surrounded by love, with family by his side; Richard Burtch passed on peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at the age of 77.
Beloved husband and best friend of Barbara for 15 years; "will always love you bunches and bunches."
Loving Dad of Jamie, Terry, Ryan, Jennifer and husband Bob.
Bonus Father to Sara, Barry, and Andreina.
Adoring Poppy and Grandpa of Kory, Tabatha, Summer, Kendra, Hayden, Russell, Chelsea, Sydney, Kasey, Lily-Anne, Josh and wife Samantha; as well as Emily, Taylor, Avery, Ivy, and Eleanor.
A Great-grandfather to many more and a loyal friend to all, who is sorely missed by extended family and those whose lives he touched. When Richard wasn't piloting a plane, navigating a boat, or travelling; other hobbies included golfing, bowling, hockey, woodworking, hunting, and going to the casino.
He was, and always will be a man with a heart of gold, an abundance of wisdom, and an impeccable ability to spread love and laughter wherever he went.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m.
