HUBER, Diedrich - 77, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 6, 2017, with family by his side, at his home in Pickering.
Dieter was born August 11, 1940 in Oldenburg, Germany.
He came to Canada in 1965 with Helga and his children and soon after became an award-winning hairstylist in Toronto.
Dieter was predeceased by his wife Helga and was a loving father to Coletta (Keith Haines), Andreas and Carina (Greg Abbott), proud Opa to Geoffrey, Ryan, Garrett, Kelly, Carmen, Erin and Kirsten and cherished partner of Denise Phillips. Beloved brother of Hans (predeceased, of Vancouver), sisters Marianne and Coletta (of Germany) and Renate (of Lindsay). Special friend and father-figure to many, including David Harris of Winnipeg.
The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Pickering Village (Ajax), on Sunday, December 10th from 1 until 4 p.m. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
