FROATS, Judith Anne “Jude”  - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 surrounded by her family and loved ones at her home in Port Perry, at the age of 65.

Judith Anne was born in Newmarket, Ontario on June 15, 1952.

Jude married her loving husband John on February 15, 1975 and they spent 43 wonderful years together.

They truly were soul mates. Jude was an amazing mother to Jennifer Pashley (Mike), Jonathan Froats and Jordan Froats (Katy). Jude was also a very active and caring grandmother to Adelaide, Benjamin, Reilly and Jordyn.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Marijane Perry (Frank), Candyce Brown (Robert) and Bill Burkholder (Wendy).  She was predeceased by her parents William and Gwendolyn Burkholder.

Jude enjoyed skiing, reading, dancing, art, world traveling, dragon boating, spending quality time with friends and family, volunteering in the community; she was an inspiration and lived life to the fullest with love and joy and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Friends and family may call at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  Memorial service will be held at the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street, Port Perry on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1 p.m., with visitation for one hour prior. A reception will follow in the church hall.

In memory of Jude, donations may be made to the Dragon Flies Breast Cancer Survivor Group (www.thedragonflies.org) or to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.

Jude was proof that angels walk amongst us!
