Podpora StranleyPODPORA, Stanley  - October 2, 1949 - December 22, 2017

It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Stanley after his courageous battles.

Stanley will be fondly remembered for his entrepreneurial skills, his sharp wit and his cunning ways.

Predeceased by his parents Jessie and Stanley Podpora, and his brothers Bill and Chester.

Survived by his loving baby sister Helen (Colin), his compassionate brothers Ian (Sue) and Wally (Debbie), also by his sisters Jean, Pauline, Charlotte.

Special thanks for their care and extended kindnesses from his nieces Heather Buchanan and Bonnie Hughes, along with Colin’s family for circling Stan with love. A heartfelt thanks to his personal friends who followed  him through this journey.

Special thanks to Dr. Denis Kim and the bone marrow transplant team at Princess Margaret Hospital. He will be sorely missed.

At Stanley’s request, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Stan’s Life will take place at the Udora Hall, 24 Victoria Road, Udora, on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2-4pm.

If desired, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital may be made in Stanley’s memory.

It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone.

“Till we all meet again”.
