BAKER, Cecil Ian - It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the loss of a precious partner, father, grandpa, son, friend and Christian brother Cecil Ian Baker, 77.
On December 28, 2017, Cecil was sleeping when he peacefully passed away from cancer in Oshawa, Ontario.
Cecil is survived by his partner Grace Hayward; her daughter Yasmeen Ali, husband Raza Ali, grandkids Salman, Armaan and Alina Ali; daughter Anita Gemmill, husband Adam Gemmill, granddaughter Hannah Gemmill; son Anthony Rowden; Cecil's son's Scott Baker; Warren Baker; Todd Baker, wife Karen Baker, grandkids Kyle, Jessica and Hailey Baker; daughter Jill Orlandi, husband Marc Orlandi, grandkids Marlie, Sydney and Ethan Orlandi; brother Aubrey Reynolds, wife Rita Reynolds; brother Nelson and sister Arlene Gallant, husband Fred Gallant.
Cecil actively served in God's work through a short-term missions trip in Nicaragua and attended church regularly in his community.
Cecil loved to help others and was well known as the "short and cute" car salesman at Ontario Motor Sales in Oshawa, Ontario.
The funeral will be held at 1:00pm, on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018, at Faithway Baptist Church, 1964 Salem Road, Ajax, Ontario, main intersection-Taunton Rd. W. & Salem Rd. Officiant Robert E. Wall.
