Wilson EleanorWILSON, Eleanor  - 84, of Claremont, passed away suddenly on December 26, 2017 in Oshawa, Ontario.

Survived by her husband Edgar, son Laurence, daughter Heather and her sister Shirley, who all love and miss her dearly.

Eleanor was born in Toronto, Ontario, to Gertrude and Karl and went to high school at Central Commerce.

She earned her teaching degree in 1955 and in 1962 graduated as Montessori Teacher in London, England. In 1969, she founded Blaisdale Montessori School which grew to be one of the largest Montessori school's in Canada. The school was her life's work and passion. She was involved with the music, poetry and the graduation at the school until the very end. She enjoyed reading, researching, meditating, travelling and the vegetarian lifestyle.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all for their messages of sympathy.

Visitation will be held on January 3rd at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, ON, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. The service will be held in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with a reception following.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a CHARITY of your choice.
