PETERS, Gordon Ray “Pete” - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his immediate family and friends at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Friday, January 12th, 2018.
Beloved husband of the late Lilly Peters.
Loving father of Derek (Michelle) and April (Mark).
Devoted grandpa of Carter, Colin, Lily and Christian. Dear brother of Gene (Virginia) and Elaine (Bryan).
Gord will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, friends and community, as well as for his passion for playing hockey, baseball and golf.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville,) on Monday, January 15th, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
In memory of Gord, donations may be made to Lakeridge Health – Cancer Care, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
