RAY, Debra Cheryl   - April 17, 1962 - January 26 2018

It is with broken hearts that we announce our brave warrior Debbie past away January 26 2018 peacefully at home in Cannington, Ontario at age 55 surrounded by family after a very courageous and lengthy battle with Brain Cancer. Debbie Ray (nee. Leuty) of Cannington, beloved daughter to Robert and Gail Leuty (nee. Braunton) of Lindsay.

Dear wife and soulmate to Stephen for 34 years.

Devoted and cherished mother to Sara (Dale) and Joel (Ashley). The proudest and most Doting grandmother to her sweet baby Owen. Loving sister to David (Mary), Darrin and predeceased by her brother Stephen (1958). Proud Auntie, niece and friend. Passionate Fur-mama and Grammama to her cats.

The family of Debbie want to thank with all our hearts the oncology team from both Kingston General and Sunnybrook Hospital. We would have never got 5 more years with mom without your specified treatment plans.

As well, to our palliative dream team; Dr Hadden, Sara, Rhonda and Ann: We are forever grateful for you guys coming into our lives and couldn’t have got through the last few months without you guys in it!

The family will receive guests at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, until service time at 2 p.m. A reception on the upper level will immediately follow.

In memory of Debbie, memorial donations may be made to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at Sunnybrook Hospital.
