BOBIER, Mervyn - May 13, 1928 - February 9, 2018

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, February 9th, 2018 in his 90th year.
Mervyn married Doreen Frauts on May 15th, 1948, Doreen predeceased him in 1993.
He has been the beloved husband of Eva (Power) for the past 21 years. Loving father to Wendy (Gary Allan) and the late Deborah Powell, stepfather of Gail (Richard Jung) and Barry (Patricia) Power.
He will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Barbara (Jason Amero) and his step granddaughters Courtney (Ryan Godard), Hilary Lerch and Francine Power.
His great-grandchildren Josilyn Rodriques and Dawson Amero and step great-grandchildren Mia Power and Adalyn Godard and his great-great-grandson Keaton Boucaud.
He will be sadly missed by his two brothers-in-law Frank Frauts (Dorothy), Donald Frauts, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and Eva’s family and friends in Ireland who always made him feel at home.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, February 14th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Charles H Best Diabetes Centre or Alzheimer Society.
