WOOD, 'Jim' Wood - (August 2, 1946 - February 21, 2018) - It is with great sadness we share the passing of Jim Wood.
His presence, calm demeanor, boisterous laughter, humor and his endless love will be greatly missed by Lorraine his wife of 51 years, his children Angela (Bob), Jeff (Connie) and Julie (Rick) and his grandchildren Cole, Chase, Alexander, Austin, Nathan, Carter and Trenton.
Jim always thought of his family first as he fought hard for 7 months to stay with us.
Jim had many successes in life, his 35-year career in real estate, a deep connection with his family, a successful round of golf one day and not so much the next. His greatest strength was the ability to connect with others. He was a mentor and a best friend to many. Always wanting to help, he would do so quietly and often anonymously.
Jim requested that his friends, colleagues and family gather in the late spring to celebrate his life, and in his words if you could all attend... ”that would be pretty perfect."
