DAVEY, June - Passed away peacefully during the afternoon of Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Victoria Manor surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of William Davey for 64 years; mother of Laura (the late Theo) and the late Jason; loving grandmother of Brent and Erin; dear sister of Muriel and Gord (Joan); sister in-law of Aileen; fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her siblings Cecil, Marie, Marion, Mildred, Elmer and Ivan.

June always had a smile on her face and kind words for everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

Born on June 1, 1930, she was raised on a farm near the village of Ivy, the second youngest of nine children.

June became a hairdresser and began her own business. She met the love of her life in Bala, marrying William on June 27, 1953 and together built a successful photography studio.

June went on to get her real estate license while she and William lived in Unionville. June and William eventually retired to a farm just east of Little Britain.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in June.

In memory of June, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Durham.
