FUKE, Dmytro - After a valiant struggle, Dmytro Fuke passed away during the early hours of March 1, 2018 at the age of 97.
Predeceased by his dear wife Nina after 63 years of marriage, Dmytro was a deeply loving and sensitive man who was above all else devoted to his family.
Loving father to Vera (Scott) and Victor (Raissa), and caring and generous grandfather to Aidan, Gabriel and Arianna, Dmytro had a smile that could light up any room even into his 98th year of life and he will be deeply missed.
We are profoundly grateful to the incredible women who helped care for Dmytro with love and compassion until his passing: Christine Brady, Stefania Borovska and Dina Roeloffzen.
A special thank you to Trish Poff who has been an incredible resource and supportive friend to the Fuke family over the last number of years.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E on Sunday March 4th from 6-8pm. Panachyda will be held at 7:30pm.
Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 5th at 11am at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, 42 Lviv Blvd, Oshawa. Interment to follow at St. Wolodmyr and St. Olha Cemetery, Courtice.
