OSMOND, Thomas (Bill) - Bill passed away peacefully after fighting bravely with cancer, with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at 64 years of age.
He was retired from G.M. after 30+ years.
A proud Newfoundlander he had many passions – his music, the HABS, golf and his family.
He will be fondly remembered by many friends and family.
Bill is survived by his wife Joyce, his sister Wanda and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his mother Dora, his father Bill, brothers Roy and Bruce, sister Sandra and sister-in-law Sadie.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, March 9th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.
Funeral Service to be held at THE SALVATION ARMY TEMPLE, 570 Thornton Rd. N., Oshawa on Saturday, March 10th at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
