FARROW, Ellen Audrey (nee Wilkins) - Passed away peacefully at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the age of 94.
Devoted wife of the late Brenton Farrow.
Loving daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Wilkins. Dear sister of the late Flossie, Lillian, Dolly, Rose, Emily, Madeline, William, Albert, and Ernest Jr. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ellen worked at Hutching IGA, TCS Port Hope and for Community Care. She taught Sunday School at St. John’s Anglican Church in Port Hope and was a member of the Rebekkah Lodge in Orono.
She married Brent Farrow and moved to Shiloh where she joined the church and became a member of the UCW. Ellen cared for the elderly and had a great love for children, puppies and dogs.
Visitation will be held at the Newcastle Funeral Home, on Monday, March 12th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial in the spring.
In memory of Ellen, donations may be made to the Shiloh Church.
