He leaves behind daughter Debbie, son Michael, grandchildren Crystal and Keith, and great grandchildren Jahnaya, Isaac, Eli, and Soraya.
Harold, as he was known to his friends and family, fought a long hard battle that spanned over 22 years.
He survived 5 different cancers, multiple bypass surgeries, and kidney failure just to name a few.
He would tell you that it was his faith in Jesus Christ that carried him through all of these years. He loved fishing, and being outdoors.
Harold was an ironworker for most of his life, and he took great pride in working hard and doing a job right. He was a man that kept his friends close and they, along with his family, will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, March 22nd from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
