Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 19, 2018 in his 86th year (21.5 Leap years).
Beloved husband of Shirley for 64 years.
Loving father of Bob (Greg - both deceased), Earle, Diane (Miles) Knutson, Keith (Jackie) and Brian (Mary) Barr.
Proud grandfather of Stephanie (Shane) Jensen, Trevor Barr, Cameron (Amber) Barr, Anja Knutson (Adam Skelton), Andrew Plaudis (Shawna Sanichar), Dylan Barr, Ashley (Peter) Boudreau, Morgan Barr (Ian Smith) and Matthew Plaudis and great grandfather of Levi, Colten, Iris, Benjamin & Evelynn Barr, Abrianna Skelton, Annika & Leo Jensen and Abigail & Jericho Boudreau.
Dear brother of Peter (Eileen) and Bruce (Judy) Barr.
Fondly remembered by Cecylia Barr and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James & Edith Barr, his brother Robert and his sister Bernice.
Bill's family will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Thursday, March 22nd from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Friday, March 23rd from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate Bill's life will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
Private family interment.
