Monaghan AlexMONAGHAN, Alex - (1990 - 2018) - The family and friends of Alex Monaghan are devastated to share that Alex ended his pain on April 1, 2018.

Alex is the beloved son of Karen O’Brien and Kevin Ashe and Ian Monaghan and Alison Monaghan.

He will be forever loved and missed by his sister Keara Monaghan, and his siblings Tori and Tyler Ashe and Renee and Cameron LeBlanc.

His beautiful niece Jamieson, the apple of his eye, will always know how much “Uncle” loved her.

Alex leaves his heart forever with his fiancée Katie Tower. Alex will be missed by his Gran Anne Monaghan and Aunt Margot Butler in the UK, his Aunt Jo Monaghan in New Zealand, Uncle Martin O’Brien in France and Aunt Celia Bareis (Gus) in Elliott Lake. We will always remember his crazy sense of humour and his incredible ability to love with his whole heart.

Alex will be sadly missed by his extended family, his cousins and his many, many friends. Alex is now with his cousin Sean Sutcliffe where they are reunited in peace.

Visitation will be held at McEachnie Fueral Home, Ajax, on Friday, April 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Alex’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 7th at 3:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Association for Suicide Prevention would be appreciated.
