HUDSON, Stephen John   - Stephen (Steve) John Hudson passed away peacefully at 7:07pm on Saturday April 14th, 2018 at The Scarborough Hospital.

He was 54.

Steve fought a short, but fierce battle with pancreatic cancer.

Steve will be deeply missed by Terry, his best friend and wife of 25 years, and his devoted sons Cameron, Mitchell and Blake, of whom he was so very proud.

Steve was beloved to his parents Ernie and Esther Hudson; his sisters Pam and Val Hudson; and his in-laws – Herman (deceased) and Wilhelmina Janssen, Hetty (Michael) Thorpe, Peggy (John) Kerk, Elly (Mike) Hobbs, and Ted (Marian) Janssen. Steve will be remembered and missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Steve will be deeply missed by his chosen brothers Neil Roberts, Steve Klaamas, Ken Donnelly and Brian Page as well as by his many friends, relatives and coworkers – near and far. Steve enjoyed the simple pleasures of time spent throwing the football around with his boys, golfing with his buddies, cycling with his wife, and walking the beach at sunset. He had a meticulous work ethic and took pride in his years with MBS, CBC and TSN.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all those friends, neighbors, and co-workers who have provided care and support these last five months, and for the overwhelming outpouring of gifts, meals, cards and prayers.

Visitation will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax on Wednesday April 18th, 2018 at 5:30-8:30pm and memorial service will be held at Forest Brook Community Church, 60 Kearney Drive, Ajax on Thursday April 19th, 2018 at 1pm with reception to follow.

If you have a favorite memory of Steve please bring a written copy so a memory keepsake can be kept for the family.

In lieu of flowers, Steve has requested that donations be made to the Scientist in School, a charity that is sparking the next generation of scientists, one of whom may just discover a cure for pancreatic cancer.

Donations can be made at www.scientistsinschool.ca/donate/ .
