HEFFERNAN, Olga Mary (nee Perchaluk) - February 3, 1932 – April 21, 2018
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, April 21st, 2018, in her 87th year.
Predeceased by her parents Harry and Mary Perchaluk; and her four brothers Fred, William, Nelson, and Orest.
Survived by her four children Leo and his wife Christine, Patricia Nowaselski, Mark and his wife Linda, and Cindy Thompson and her husband Dan. Cherished grandma of Amie (Justin), Katie (Craig), Lauren, Joshua, Jacob, and Rachel.
Will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Born and raised on a farm in Sclater, Manitoba, she moved to Toronto in the early 50's. Prior to her many years living in Oshawa, Olga owned and operated Garner Lodge in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
Olga will be remembered as a kind and generous woman who always made people feel welcome.
Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of Celebration of Life service in the chapel at 11:00 am.
