Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in her 93rd year.
Lillian’s passion for golf led to two Senior Ladies Championships at Bowmanville Golf Club.
She was a longtime resident at Wilmot Creek. Lillian, beloved wife of the late Arthur Douglas Hooper. Loved mother of Ron (Joan) Hooper, Dan (Cathy) Hooper, Nancy Hooper and Kathy (late Art) Brayley.
Loving grandmother of Janet (Chris) Hooper, Carrie Hooper, Jason (Shannon) Brayley, Tanya Brayley, Holly Hooper, David, Justin and Andrew Ball. Loving great-grandmother of Connor, Jared and Callum Burns; Liam and Evan Brayley and Lily McGill. Dear sister of Kathleen (late George) Mitchell. Best buds with her four legged friend Mookie.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Donations to the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation or the CHARITY of choice would be gratefully appreciated.
