Special thank you to Lois’s niece Diane Ridding, for being a guardian angel to Lois and Ron, during both of their health struggles. Lois was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was so very proud of her family.

Eight years ago, Lois suffered a stroke, leaving her left side of her body paralyzed. She will be remembered forever for her positive outlook on life, constant smile, joyful spirt, sense of humour, love of laughter and music. Lois loved singing in the choir and continued to do so at Fairview Lodge. She was very active in her church family.

Lois loved people and became friends with everyone she met. She was the first to give everyone a compliment. Lois has left behind a wonderful legacy of love and friendship for everyone whose lives she touched.

Lois loved her cottage and cherished her many years there with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching her precious birds, the magnificent sunsets and making s’mores with her grandchildren around the campfire.

Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Fairview Lodge for their excellent care, compassion and love for Lois during the past seven years.

Thank you to The Wynfield, who cared for Lois for eight months, after the Fairview Lodge fire. Lastly to Sunnycrest, where Lois resided for seven months when she first had her stroke in 2010.

Special thanks to Patricia Marshall, Lois's PSW, who made her cottage trips possible, for the past seven years.
