Born in Oshawa.

Passed away peacefully at home after battling lung cancer Monday, May 14th, 2018 in his 89th year.

Survived by his long time soul mate and wife Marion, sons Doug (Emma) and Ken, brother Joe and sister Carole.

Predeceased by sons Ted, Rick and Ron, sister Mary Joan and brother Tommy.

Philip was a hardworking family man. In his earlier years he was a big fan of Sunday morning CAW Hockey games of the Bowmanville Eagles and Toros.

He enjoyed Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario, campfires, spending the winters in Florida and of course, his favourite past time; solving Sudoku puzzles right up until the end.

He will be fondly missed by his family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place at his request and there will be no formal service.

If desired, donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region or a  CHARITY of your choice.
