SMITH, Robert A. - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Robert A. Smith who passed away surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday, May 18, 2018.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Gloria Smith.
A loving father to Frank Smith, David Smith and Gary Smith
(Aurelina). Brother of Beverly Bannister, Barbara Williams, Bonnie Johnson; predeceased by his brothers Brian and Bruce. Caring grandfather of Tammy, Natasha, Kathryn and Robert. Step grandfather to Tiffany and Kevin.
Step great-grandfather and great-grandfather to Aliesha, Abigail, Joseph and Michael. Also a great person to nephews, nieces as well as friends.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11 a.m.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated.
