BENDECK, John Michael - Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday May 21st, 2018 at the age of 83.
Pre-deceased by his wife Donna Bendeck (nee Barnes)
Loving father of Dr. Michelle Bendeck and her husband Michael Butler of Toronto and Jerry Bendeck of Brooklin.
Dear brother of Violet Robinson (late George) of LaSalle, and pre-deceased by his sister Gloria Phin (late Kenneth) of Windsor.
Devoted uncle of Rick Robinson, David Robinson, and Susan Turner.
For many years John and his son Jerry were proprietors of Jerry’s Variety in Amherstburg. He was also employed by Hershey Canada, Feldman Windows and AutoFlo. In his retirement, John was an avid gardener, growing many beautiful plants now shared by family and friends throughout Ontario.
There will be a memorial mass for John at 9AM on Saturday July 7 at St. John the Baptist Church, 225 Brock St., Amherstburg ON. If so desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
