Mudd BrianMUDD, Brian Sturgeon - (November 5, 1930 – May 29, 2018) 

After a courageous battle with cancer, Brian passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in his 88th year.

Beloved husband of June for 61 years.

Loving father of Graeme (Heather), and Iain (Christina).

Cherished grandfather of Iain, Colin, Callum, Greg, Jayden, Josh, and Jonah.

Dear brother of John (Nell) from Regina, Saskatchewan, Eric (Donna) from Orono, Ontario, and the late George.

Brian will also be dearly missed by his niece & nephew: Catherine & David, as well as his extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special Thank-You to all the Doctors, nurses and PSW’s for their loving care provided.

Brian was a former teacher at Durham College, and will be remembered for his love of jazz, art, gardening, woodworking, and dogs. He was also a founding member of the Oshawa Art Gallery.

As per Brian’s wishes, there will be a private family service at a later date.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre.
