Galbraith RogerGALBRAITH, Roger Edward - Retired General Motors Employee with over 38 years service

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in his 79 th year.

Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Madigan).

Loving father of Janice Galbraith, Cheryl Lusch and her husband Walt and Chad Galbraith and his wife Tricia.

Sadly missed by grandchildren Amanda, Shannon, Aaron, Ashley, Owen and Evan.

Dear brother of George Galbraith and his wife Barb, Doris Sheppard and her husband Lorne, Gerald Galbraith Jr. and his wife Sharon and Lorraine Oderkirk and her late husband Gary.

Predeceased by sister Joyce and brother Carl.

Roger was an avid bowler and ball player and and one of the finest handy man around. He had an incredible love for his grandchildren and his dogs and was loved by everyone who knew him.

In accordance with Roger’s wishes, cremation has taken place a Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby., 905-443-3376

The family would like to thank the Acute Cardiac Care Unit on the seventh floor C wing, the Acute Care in the Emergency Department, the Paramedics who transport him to Lakeridge Health and all the staff at Thorntonview Nursing Home, Trillium Court.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
