ENGLISH, Leslie William 'Les' - It is with very heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved Les, in the early hours of July 19, 2018.
Adored husband of Anne for over 65 years.
Cherished dad of Nicholas and Amanda.
Les will be missed by brother John in England as well as relatives from across the GTA, the UK, Europe and Japan.
He will be fondly remembered for his love of life, great sense of humour and enjoying the company of others.
Les enjoyed listening to music and will be dearly missed by all who were touched by this gentle man.
Visitation will take place at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road, North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787) on Wednesday, July 25th, from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm.
The English family would like to extend its appreciation to the dedicated nursing staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa, especially Rosa and Jay, for professionalism, care and compassion shown to Les and his family.
