Graduate of Loretto Brunswick and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing (1944).
Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Thomas Mullrooney (2015).
Loving mother of Kathleen, Patrick (Rhoda), Michael (Patricia) and Maureen (Jonathan Pickles, deceased).
Devoted grandmother of Katie, Tom, John, Mark, Paul, Christopher, Kathleen, Matthew, Christy, Kevin and Sean.
Proud great grandmother of Kristina, Nicholas, Sadie, Josie, Patrick, Andie, Alex and Max.
Dear sister of Denis McBride, and the late Catherine Conway, Mary Menary, and John McBride.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Rita’s life at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto on Monday October 29 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday October 30 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 44 Broadway Avenue, Toronto. Interment to following.
