BARNES, Edna May (nee Gower) - It is with profound sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and sister at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, October 14th, 2018 in her 91st year.
Born and raised and a lifetime resident of Oshawa.
Predeceased by her loving husband Ted, her son David, her brother Jim Gower and sister Anne Gower.
Survived by daughters Sally Lloyd (Doug) and Lisa Jones.
Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Brianne, Sara, Carrie, Ted, Dawson and great grandmother to Austyn, Blake and Xander.
Dear sister of Millie Brown, Ruth Butler and Peggy Wilson.
Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Will be greatly missed by her feline friend Otis.

Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, (905-432-8484) on Sunday, October 21st from 1:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
