DESOUSA, Elizabeth - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Liz on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 57.
Beloved wife to Paul Caudle and loving Mom and best friend to Maddison.
Survived by her dear parents, Manuel and Maria DeSousa, siblings, Ana and her spouse Richard Sullivan and Gilbert 'Jack' DeSousa, nephew and niece, Andrew and Laura Sullivan.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends with special appreciation by Kevin and Tish Caudle.
Liz was a sincerely kind woman who treated everyone with compassion. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be missed. Liz had a wide variety of hobbies and interests that always kept her busy. She loved to travel and experience new places any chance she could. She also loved spending time in the sun, swimming, dancing, gardening and attending Maddison's sporting and theatrical events were all things she loved to do. She also enjoyed reading, films, fashion, jewelry as well as having a flair for interior design. She adored animals. Above all else, Liz loved her family. Her biggest joy in life came from being an extraordinary mother to Maddison. She always made time each morning to sit down for coffee with Paul. Liz worked hard to make their home a special, happy and loving place for her family. She will be missed beyond measure.
Friends and family will be received at Coutts funeral home, Cambridge, on Friday, September 1, 2017, 5 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Clements Parish, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge.
