October 7, 1936 - March 11, 2025

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Douglas Crossing Retirement Home in Uxbridge on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the age of 88 years. Cherished wife of 68 years to the late Floyd Evans. Loved and remembered by her children Ronald (Ruth), Robert (Mary), Cathy Mouflier (Richard), Garry (Debbie), and Murray.

Beloved grandmother of Adam (Kendra), Aaron (Esther), Teena (Tyler), Scott (Christina), Evan, Jeffrey, Melanie (Reuben), Nicholas (Ashley), Jaired, Karissa, and Danielle, and great-grandmother of Norah, Silas, Watson, Bethany, Cole, Cameron, Austin, Chase, and Evelyn.

Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Mildred Simpson, and siblings John and Lois Elford. Survived by her sister Marie Wilson.

Grace was born on a farm southeast of Uxbridge, the youngest in a family of four children. She attended Pine Grove School before moving to Uxbridge for further education. After completing high school, she worked in the office at Comco Stamping until she left to join Floyd full-time on their farm, Evanhill Farms. She was active alongside Floyd in their church and community. In retirement, she found great joy in tending to her vegetable and flower gardens.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. A private funeral service will be celebrated by the family.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated by the family.
