Peacefully with family at her side, Annette Deyle (née Oostveen), in her 80th year, was reunited with lost loved ones on March 25, 2025, at Strathroy Hospital. Predeceased by her husband John (2017), and parents Karl and Annie Oostveen.
Remembered and loved by her children Terry (Kim) Deyle, Lorrie (Jon) Rushton, John Deyle, Annie Deyle (Rick). Predeceased by her son Ronnie Deyle. Special Grandmother to Tracey, Tyler, Tara Deyle; Evan, Lucas, Emilie Vezsenyi; Fred, Tiffany Hathaway; Nathan, Amanda Deyle; Michael, Jacob, Brittany Deyle. Great-Grandmother to 24.
Annette enjoyed the serenity of her gardens, coffee, conversation, and a good laugh with friends, and her furry companion Babe. She will be remembered for her many years spent devoted to the Rodney Legion serving veterans and her community.
A long-time member of The Rodney Christian Mission, Annette enjoyed fellowship with her “church family.” She found peace knowing that she would leave this life to cross over into paradise with her Lord.
Annette rests at Arn Funeral Home, 212 Furnival Rd, Rodney. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 7:00–9:00 pm. Funeral service to commence Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Interment in Rodney Cemetery to follow. Friends and family are invited for fellowship afterward at Arn Funeral Home.

Charles Edward Given passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at Beattie Manor Retirement Home, Wardsville, where he had resided since November 2024, in his 63rd year.
Charles was the beloved brother of Peggy Anne Harris of Acton and Cathy (Dale) Ireland of Newbury. A dear brother-in-law of Steve Ireland of Rodney.
A loving uncle of Michael (Amy) Ireland of Rodney, Angela (Derek) Downey of Milton, and Kyle and Kain Downey.
Predeceased by his parents, Edith Jean and William Lorne Given; brothers William Given and Robert Given; sister Debbie Ireland; brother-in-law Bob Harris; and nephews William Ireland and Christopher Ireland.
He will be fondly missed by his Georgetown PSW, Rosa Tassone, the staff of Beattie Manor, the homecare team, and the Georgetown Hospital.
Their outstanding care for Charles will always be remembered.
Charles now joins into Eternal Peace. A celebration of his life will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown at a later date.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Laurentina Brasil on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Parkwood Hospital, at the age of 80. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Maria was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Brasil (January 2024) and the much-loved mother of Rosie (Joe) and Tony. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael (Mariana), Stephanie (Laura), Tony (Kate), Greg (Jessica), Jericho, Tehya, and Ta’Kaiya, and a devoted great-grandmother to Teagan, Finley, Maverick, Emmett, Asher, Killian, Avery Rose, Natalina, and Jasper.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her dear sisters Maria de Loures (Jose) and Amirinta (Fernando) and her brother Horcio (Goretti). She was predeceased by her parents, Maria Amelia and Sarafino Oliveira, and some of her siblings. Maria’s life was centered around her family, who brought her immense pride and joy.
Visitation will take place at Arn Funeral Home West Lorne, 202 Main St. (519-785-0810), on Thursday, November 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church, West Lorne, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Darlene Waller (LeClair)
November 3, 1955 – October 29, 2024 (age 68)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Waller (LeClair) on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at McCormick Home in London, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Rene Leclair (2018). Darlene was deeply loved and will be missed by her children Doug (Cheryl) Waller and Corrine (Victor) Waller, and her godson Steven Major. She was a cherished grandmother to Rene, Bailey, Allan, Tricia, Josh, Braelyn, and a beloved great-grandmother to Kingston, Hunter, Alyliah, Tytan, and Brynleigh.
She is survived by her dear siblings Erica, Gloria (late John), Michelle, Jennie (late Jim), April, and Myrna, and predeceased by her sister Yvonne (2000). Darlene will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and as a loving foster mother to numerous children through Elgin County Family Services.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St., Dutton. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rodney Cemetery.
