Of Espanola, passed away at the Espanola Nursing Home on March 5th, 2025, at the age of 85.

Cherished son of the late Joseph & Edna (nee Coe) Case.
Beloved husband of Patricia (nee McLennan) Case.
Loving father of Lee Anne Dagenais (Alain) of Timmins & Graydon (Kim) Case of Little Current.
Grandfather to Davis and Kayla, and great-grandfather to Ayla and Lily.
Dear brother to Albert (Margaret) of South Bay.
Will also be missed by many friends and relatives.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Espanola Nursing Home for their care of Les.
Cremation has taken place, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Lina Lelievre

November 4, 1941 - February 28, 2025

LELIÈVRE – Lina of Espanola passed away at home on February 28, 2025, at the age of 83.
Dearest mother of Julie and cherished wife of Edmond for almost 65 years.
She is reunited with her family: parents Zephirin and Rita Larocque, sisters Olive, Berthe, and Grace, and her brother André.
She leaves behind several nieces and nephews from all across the country.

Lina was dedicated to her family and loved being around people. She was a kind and compassionate person who would do anything for anyone in need.
She loved gardening, crocheting, and cooking and was talented at all three.

Rest peacefully, Mom, I’m sure you’re already tending to the flower gardens in Heaven.

Dear daughter of Sydney & Evelyn (née Murray) Smith. Beloved wife of Paul Scheib.

Cherished mother of Dean Miller of London and Julia Merritt (Shannon) of Mary Esther, Florida. Loving grandmother to Justin, Nolan, Leilani, Levi & Lukas.

Dear sister of Violet Allen (Bob) of Niagara Falls and Jackie Smith of St. Catharines.

Roger Joseph Allan Caibaiosai

November 17, 1956 - November 20, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger Joseph Allan Caibaiosai, who departed peacefully on November 20, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on November 17, 1956, in Espanola, Ontario, Roger led a life full of love, adventure, and cherished memories.

Roger had a deep passion for fishing, often spending countless hours by the water with his fishing buddy, Matthew. Whether exploring favorite spots or sharing stories on the lake, every trip brought him joy. A spirited traveler, Roger loved road trips across North America, earning the affectionate nickname "Wrong Turn Rog" for his many adventurous detours. Above all, Roger cherished time with his family and friends, leaving an indelible mark with his warm smile, quick wit, and generous spirit.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife Cathy, his daughter Jessica, and his cherished son Rusty (Ciera). He will also be dearly missed by his dog Lucky and cat Scooter. Roger leaves behind his sisters Carol (Silvestre) and Sandra (Andres), brother Robert (Tammy), and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Vincent and Clara, his brothers Eugene and Ronald, his sister Julie, niece Louise, and nephews Ronald, Donald, and Darwin.

Roger’s life will be celebrated with a “Last Ride Around the Reserve” on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., meeting at the park and proceeding to the New Community Centre in Sagamok. The funeral will be held at St. Raphael Church on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

Though Roger has cast his final line and reached his final destination, his legacy of love, laughter, and cherished stories will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, Roger Joseph Allan Caibaiosai. May your journeys continue into the spirit world. Baamaapii.
