POTTS, (Anna) Marie of Hastings in her 84th year passed peacefully, surrounded by family on December 31, 2024, at PRHC.
Wife of the late Keith Potts (2008). Proud and loving mother of Karen Bell (Brian), John (Kim), and Kathy Irvine (Doug). Nana will be sadly missed by Karen (Jake), Christopher (Grietje), Ryan (Sarah), Mitchell, Tyler (Emily), Jordan, Austin (Daniela), Nick (Erin), and Aidan. Great Nana of Maiya, Alexis, and Vivian.
She is survived by her sister Colleen Dainard (John), brother-in-law Richard Potts (Brenda), sister-in-law Wendy Chaput (Wayne), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jack Brinklow and Marcella (Sullivan) Brinklow.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Front St. in Hastings, on March 1, 2025, from 1-4 PM, with an opportunity to share memories at 2 PM.

Interment at Trent Valley Cemetery, Hastings, in the spring. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Karen “Miz” Watson

December 1, 1941 – December 9, 2024

Karen (Miz) Watson, 83, of Havelock, Ontario, volunteer extraordinaire, died on the morning of December 9, 2024. Miz was born on December 1, 1941, to Ruth and Morgan Ames in Brighton, Ontario. She was the sister to Margo and Lynne, and the loving mother to Jennifer Lynne, Brud (Donna), Shannon, and Lisa.

Miz leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Dustin (Becca), Jared, Dana (Doug), Isaac, Savannah, Holden (Brooke), Jeremy (Jami), Rachel, Shannon, Kent, and Kate. She was also the Great Mizzy to their precious children: Kylie, Tristan, Olivia, Stella Mae, Jessica, Samantha, Liam, River, Saffi, Luke, Jake, and Zoe. Miz also cherished her grand animals Booker, Hank, Rocco, and Susan.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, sometime when the weather is warmer, there will be a joyous parade followed by a tribute at the Havelock Arena. The family will keep you posted on the date.

Memorials or donations may be made to the Havelock Rail or the Havelock-Trent River United Church.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Elias Chalhoub on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Joseph will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories of Joseph to be included in a special keepsake book for the family.
