It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Michael Daniels. He passed peacefully at his home in Havelock, Ontario, surrounded by his beloved wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and family on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Roy Daniels, in his 62nd year.
Loving spouse of Deborah McNeill and loving father of Lindsay McNeill. Loving stepfather of Douglas Sullivan and the late mother Carol Sullivan (née Hudgins). Beloved grandparents (deceased) Stanley Hudgins and Queenie Hudgins.
Cherished sibling and family member of Carolyn Hudgins, daughter Jennifer; the late Cherie Hudgins, daughters Jocelynne and Holly; beloved parents (deceased) Gordon Wilson and Joan Wilson; and the late brother Kevin Wilson, son Adam, daughters Marie-Anna and Jessica. Loving aunts Sandra Coady and the late Margie, and uncle Lou Mizzi. Loving aunt Jean Hudgins and the late uncle Billy Hudgins. Loving cousin of John Quinn and many beloved cousins.
Loving mother-in-law Margaret McNeill and the late father-in-law Matthew McNeill. Beloved brother-in-law of Scott McNeill and Jean Curruthers, sons Alex and Jake; Sandra McNeill, daughter Renee, son Andrew; and brother-in-law Alan McNeill. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Roy’s best childhood buddies and friends from his hometown in Rexdale, Ontario, and Toronto, whom he loved dearly, will always remember him fondly.
Our family wishes to express sincere thanks to the Kingston Health Sciences Centre staff that cared for Roy during his treatments. A special thanks to the Palliative Homecare Services for their outstanding care for Roy, especially his nurses Lisa and Kimberly, as well as St. Elizabeth Health Services Personal Support Workers.
A celebration of life for Roy will follow at a later date.

She is survived by her sister Colleen Dainard (John), brother-in-law Richard Potts (Brenda), sister-in-law Wendy Chaput (Wayne), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jack Brinklow and Marcella (Sullivan) Brinklow.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Front St., in Hastings on March 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with an opportunity to share your memories and stories at 2:00 p.m.
Marie loved her Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, so please feel free to join us in your favourite sports attire.
Interment at Trent Valley Cemetery, Hastings, in the spring.

Karen (Miz) Watson, 83, of Havelock, Ontario, volunteer extraordinaire, died on the morning of December 9, 2024. Miz was born on December 1, 1941, to Ruth and Morgan Ames in Brighton, Ontario. She was the sister to Margo and Lynne, and the loving mother to Jennifer Lynne, Brud (Donna), Shannon, and Lisa.
Miz leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Dustin (Becca), Jared, Dana (Doug), Isaac, Savannah, Holden (Brooke), Jeremy (Jami), Rachel, Shannon, Kent, and Kate. She was also the Great Mizzy to their precious children: Kylie, Tristan, Olivia, Stella Mae, Jessica, Samantha, Liam, River, Saffi, Luke, Jake, and Zoe. Miz also cherished her grand animals Booker, Hank, Rocco, and Susan.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, sometime when the weather is warmer, there will be a joyous parade followed by a tribute at the Havelock Arena. The family will keep you posted on the date.

Joseph will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
