Judith "Judy" Mary Martin
1964 - 2024

Judith “Judy” Mary Martin passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, after a long battle with Huntington’s disease, at Owen Sound Hospital. Judy, a resident of Sauble Beach, Ontario, was 60 years old.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Shelby Mole (Steve) and Shaunacy De Jong-Strain (Brandon), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jaxon, Blake, and Bennett. Judy was the beloved daughter of June Martin and dear sister to Ron Martin. She was predeceased by her father, Bruce Martin.

Judy graduated in 1985 from Humber College as a Registered Nursing Assistant. After a brief career in nursing, she dedicated her time to working at her parents’ campground, Sauble Beach Resort Camp. Judy adored the sunshine and spent winters in Riverview, Florida, with her parents, alongside many treasured family cruises.

The funeral service will be held at Sauble Beach United Church on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Cremation will follow, and her interment will be at Zion Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Downs and Son Funeral Home, Hepworth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington’s Society of Canada.
