It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea Conway, who passed away suddenly on January 3, 2025, at the age of 51. Andrea was a beloved daughter of Patrick and the late Maureen Conway (née O’Neill). She will be dearly missed by her siblings Kelly (Casey Enright), Tracey, Christian, and Trisha (Philip Volpe), as well as her nieces Holly and Leah, and nephew Sean. Andrea's love and light will also be remembered by her dear friend Bill Hodgkins and his sons, Joseph and William.
Andrea had a deep passion for nature, running, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets. She touched the lives of many with her kind and compassionate spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrea's memory may be made to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or the Port Elgin Food Bank.

Lamain, Aaltje “Ann,” born in Holland on August 1, 1924, passed away peacefully at the Southampton Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the age of 100. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Aaldrik Lamain, who passed away in 2015 after 67 years of marriage.
Dear mother to Bill, Robert (and his friend Jeannie), and Margaret (and her husband Dave Nickel). She was a proud grandmother and will be fondly remembered by her family. Predeceased by her parents and siblings in Holland.
Aaltje was able to remain in her home until her passing, thanks to the care and support of her son Bill over the years. She enjoyed many years of traveling with Aaldrik after his retirement and cherished spending time with her cats. Aaltje’s lifelong love of knitting grew into a passion for crocheting and crafting with plastic canvas.
A spring interment will take place at Southampton Cemetery.

Colleen Johnston, aged 63, passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Thursday, December 5, 2024. She was a proud mother to Steven (Sarah), Patricia (Austin), and Amanda, and a loving grandmother to Shoshanna (Jack), Hayden, Deacon, Grant Jr., Chance, Pearl, Kendrick, Teddy, and Olive. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Wynter.
Colleen is survived by her dear siblings Darin, Murray, and Myra, as well as her nieces Sue, Dee Dee, Kassie, Shaelyn, nephews Dallas and Brad, and their families. She is predeceased by her parents Ella and Douglas Johnston, granddaughter Ocean, siblings Linda, Angie, Betsy, Julia, Eric, Stuart, Garry, Wayne, Ervin, her twin brother Colin, and her special friend Jaak Vanloffeld.
Visitation will be held at Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at French Bay Cemetery.

Tracy Elda Mary Martin
July 18, 1976 – October 29, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tracy Elda Mary Martin (nee Spooner), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. After a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, she passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 29, 2024, at the age of 48.
Tracy was born on July 18, 1976, in Sudbury, Ontario, to Larry and Ginette Spooner. On April 30, 1994, she married Paul Martin, and together they raised four beautiful daughters: Abigail (Kevin Bowman), Kaylee (Ryan Hopcraft), Alexis (Justin Greig), and Kiandra (Zack Vokes). Tracy was a devoted grandmother to her six grandchildren: Scotlyn, William, Charlotte, Raelyn, Everly, and Brynlee. She was also a loving sister to Lee-Ann Spooner (Ciaran McCarthy) and Tina (Matt Gardy), and a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion, Tracy lived a life filled with love, joy, and dedication to her family. Her quick wit, warm smile, and love for gatherings will be deeply missed. Tracy was a pillar of strength, holding her family together with values of love, respect, and generosity.
A funeral service will be held at Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce St, Port Elgin, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Walker House, 146 High Street, Southampton, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., where family and friends are invited to share memories and honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation in Tracy’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
