Bruce Ormond Charles Benham
February 26, 1948 – October 29, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Benham announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the age of 76. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Mike (Leona) and Charlie (Tracy), and his stepdaughters Cindy, Michelle (Jason), and Leanne (Mike).

A proud grandfather, Bruce cherished his grandchildren Matt (Tiffany), Crissy, Andrew (Holly), Jakob, Gregorey, Kurtt, Natasha, and Avery. He was also adored by his great-grandchildren Leah, Mya, Ellie, Lettie, Max, and another on the way. His memory will be held dear by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his wife Dorthy, his parents Willa and Orm, his brother Brian, sister Sharon, and his son Todd. His legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will continue in the hearts of all who knew him.

As per Bruce’s wishes, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters in his memory.

Carol Rosalind Burgess (née Webster)
November 21, 1941 – October 29, 2024

Peacefully, and surrounded by the love of her family at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Carol Rosalind Burgess passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Beloved wife of Alan Burgess for nearly 25 years, Carol was a devoted mother to Tammy (Mark), Sandy, David, Bryan, Shelly (Eric), Leslie (Shawn), and Kevin.

Carol will be fondly remembered by her siblings, Myrna (Alf), Aubrey (Pat), Norman (Sue), and Heather. Her warmth, humor, and love touched all who knew her, creating treasured memories for her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Carol will be held at In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. (28 Main Street North, Grand Valley, ON L9W 5S7) on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to share in her memory, to laugh, to reminisce, and to gather in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the Lung Association.
