Kaia Maggie Kagagins-Orr

November 15, 2024

It is with profound sadness that Rachel Kagagins and Jacob Orr announce the passing of their beloved baby, Kaia Maggie Kagagins-Orr, on Friday, November 15, 2024. Though her time with us was brief, Kaia brought immense love and joy to her family.

Kaia is the cherished daughter of Rachel and Jacob and much-loved sister of Theo and Nya. She is dearly missed by her grandparents Dee Contin and the late John Kagagins, as well as Lori and Mark Orr. Kaia is also fondly remembered by her aunts and uncles: Jon (Chantal), Samantha (Sonny), Melissa, and Riley. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of her extended family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Papa’s house, 603 Pickerel River Road, Pickerel, Henvey Inlet First Nation. Visitation will begin on Monday afternoon, continuing until the service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Cremation will follow.

Samuel Dawson Naylor Bloxam
1956 - October 22, 2024

Samuel Dawson Naylor Bloxam, a long-time mechanic, passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, at the age of 68. He was the loving husband and long-time partner of Nancy Beagan, and former husband of Beth Smith. Sam was a devoted father to Zane Smith, Arleah Bloxam de Carle, Tiera Martin, Samara Bloxam, Draya Bloxam, and Micah Bloxam, as well as a step-father to Josh and Jarrett Boam. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren.

Sam was the beloved son of the late John and Margaret Bloxam, and a dear brother to John, Bill, Bob, Shirley, Jim, Donald, Ron, Reg, and the late Charlie. He will also be fondly remembered by his friend Randy Hunter, as well as his nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Sam will be remembered for his love of music and his exceptional guitar playing, which brought joy to those around him.

A celebration of Sam’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Muskoka, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Belvedere Heights, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Samuel Dawson Naylor Bloxam. May his memory bring comfort during this difficult time, and your kind words and thoughts are greatly appreciated.
