1935 – February 28, 2025

In loving memory of Frances Colleen Rinta (née McColeman), 89 years, who passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Pioneer Manor.

Beloved wife of Edvin Rinta (predeceased). Loving mother of Kathy Hine (Rick), Nancy Palmer (Scott), and Aileen Rickard.
Cherished grandmother of Geoffrey Hine, Danielle Picard (Mark), Courtney Picard (Ian), Matthew Rickard (Chealsey), Liam Rickard (Courtney), and Dana Rickard.
She was especially delighted to meet her great-grandchildren Elena and Jolene.

Dear daughter of Frank and Lila McColeman (both predeceased). Colleen, lovingly known as "Cobbs," was the eldest of six siblings:
sister to Gerald McColeman (Judy, both predeceased), Phoebe Cliff (Robert predeceased), Gary McColeman, Doug McColeman (Karen), and Sandy McColeman.
She will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.

Colleen grew up in Minnow Lake and worked for over 40 years at Canadian Tire, where she met the love of her life, Edvin.
She adored her job and took pride in her work.
She cherished time at her camp on Deer Lake with family, often found cleaning algae off rocks, paddle boating with her grandkids,
tending to her garden, or enjoying a peaceful nap.
She had a passion for reading and loved collecting and lending books.
Some of her favorite things included a chilled glass of white wine, a good cheeseburger, and a slice of Black Forest cake.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury, with a special appreciation to Olga for her exceptional care.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin Chapter would be greatly appreciated.

Connor Zachary Coutu

August 8, 2002 – March 1, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Connor Zachary Coutu on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at the age of 22.

Cherished and loving son of Tim (Tyra) and Ginette Gault (Dave). Beloved baby brother of Tyler and big brother of Maverick.
Much-loved grandson of Pepere Patrick (predeceased) and Memere Denise Dubois, Pepe Rheal and Tita Violet (predeceased) Lafond, and Tom and Phyllis Gault.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many family members and close friends.

Connor was born in Sudbury on August 8, 2002. A natural athlete, he excelled at any sport he participated in.
He was a warm and gentle soul—affectionate, loving, and adventurous. His infectious smile could light up any room.
Though this loss is unimaginable for our family, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.
We are grateful to all who supported Connor along his journey and will forever cherish the love and memories he left behind.

A funeral service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Friends may gather at the funeral home from 12:00 PM on Sunday.
For those unable to attend in person, the funeral will be live-streamed at
this link.

Cremation will follow at Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mental Health and Addiction Program (cheques only) would be appreciated.
