With great sadness, we announce the passing of Marija Ament on January 11, 2025, at Lisaard House in Cambridge. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Marija was cherished by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, with burial at Parklawn Cemetery.

Phillip Thompson
1960 – 2024
Phillip Thompson passed away suddenly at his home in Kitchener on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Loving father of Kate Thompson (Jeremy) and cherished grandfather of Olivia. Dear brother of Craig Thompson (Irene) and Lee Brown (David). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his children’s mother, Elizabeth Thompson.
Phillip was predeceased by his parents Marion and Curtis Thompson, son Scott Thompson, and brother Christopher Thompson.
A Celebration of Life for Phillip will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 3:30 p.m.
