Barbara Joan Rowat (nee Foggo) passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 20, 2024, with her family by her side. She was in her 79th year. Barb, of Elmvale, was the beloved wife of Lealand Rowat. Cherished mother to Marcia Rowat (John King) and Chris (Bridget) Rowat, and loving grandmother to Abigail, Samantha, Alexa, and the late Zoe. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Aleczander, Linken, Izobella, and Nikolas.

Barbara is survived by her sister Marcia (Brian) March, and predeceased by her sister Diane (survived by Earl) New. She will be missed dearly by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. John’s United Church in Elmvale on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s United Church.
