Grace Elizabeth Catherine Norris

1948 – December 16, 2024

Grace Elizabeth Catherine Norris passed away peacefully at Riverglen Haven Nursing Home on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Winston Clyde Norris.

Grace was the beloved mother of Michael Norris (Trish) of Virginia and Jane Norris (Edward) of Keswick. She was a cherished grandmother to Ariana (Echo), Michael (Mikey), Aaliyah, Enya, and the late Caitlyn and Brittany, as well as a treasured great-grandmother to Brayden, Brittany, Carter, and Colby.

Dear sister of Nancy, Pat, Cathy, and Bill, Grace will be forever missed by her family and friends. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Riverglen Haven Nursing Home for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations to MS Canada or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada to support dementia research would be greatly appreciated.

Passed Away: November 24, 2024

Albert “Al” George William Moss passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Barbara, Al will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was a devoted father to Ann-Marie (Tom Mesley), Barbara-Jean (Keith Berry), Blake (Kim Borroughs), and Michael. Al was a cherished grandfather to Chuck Mesley (Jana), Becky Mesley, Mitchell Berry, Michael Berry, Jake Bolin-Moss, Sydney Bolin-Moss, AJ Bolin-Moss, Brittany Van Hemman (Jeff), and Blake Jr. Moss. Treasured great-grandfather of Kayli, Ty, Piper, Parker, and Jude. Al was the adored brother of Leonard, George, and Marion.

Al’s memory will live on through his friends, family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes, and no formal services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Al’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Heidi Anne Patchett

1963 - November 15, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heidi Anne Patchett, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 61 years.

Heidi was the loving wife of Andrew Patchett of Queensville, ON. She was the beloved mother of Tyler Patchett of Queensville, ON, and Brittany Patchett (Jonathon Dimmell) of Mount Albert, ON. Cherished grandma to Alexis Dimmell, Ella Patchett, and Huxley Dunbar. Heidi was a dear sister to Linda Morley and Tom Lemperg, and she will be deeply missed by her half-siblings Keith Woods, Guy Woods, April Woods, Dawn Routledge, Kelley Woods, and Susan Santaguida.

Heidi and Linda were lovingly adopted by Grace and Jordan Gidge on May 28, 1974. She will also be fondly remembered by her adoptive siblings Ron Gidge, Ken Gidge, Joan Luffman, the late Marty Gidge, and David Gidge, as well as her extended family and friends. A special thank you is extended to the ICU nurses at Southlake Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.

A Memorial Service and Visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick, on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel.

In memory of Heidi, donations made to the York Region Children’s Aid Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
