Robert "Bob" Hess of South Dundas passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on January 2, 2025, at the age of 76, surrounded by family. Bob was the loving husband of Cathie (née McGuire) and a cherished father to Bren (Lee) Gray of Okotoks, Alberta, Michael (Natalie) Hess of Cornwall, and Jonathan (Jamie) Robinson of Cornwall.
He was a fun-loving grandfather to Dylan, Abbey, and Thomas, Jesse and Kevin, and Dylan and Ryley. Bob is also survived by his siblings Jim (Kelly) Hess, Douglas Hess, and Ruth (Glen) Liscumb. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl Hess and Grace Flegg, his son-in-law Michael Gray, his brother Timothy Hess, and his father-in-law Melville McGuire.
Bob will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and outdoorsman. Whether hunting in the woods or fishing on the water, he found joy in nature and the great outdoors.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends are welcome to join the family for an Irish wake to raise a glass and share stories in Bob's honor on January 10, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Charles Holmes passed away peacefully at the Dundas Manor Nursing Home in Winchester on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the age of 91. Charlie was a devoted husband to Lorna Holmes (née Black) for almost 60 years. He was a loving father to Diane Holmes of Barrie and Julie Holmes (Steve McKinnon) of Almonte.
Dear brother of Merle Holmes (Yvonne) of Spencerville, Ray Holmes (Doris) of Manotick, Betty Gorman (late Bob) of Greely, and Don Holmes (Judy) of North Gower. He will be fondly remembered by his granddaughter Cassidy Buchanan. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Evelyn Holmes (née Gray), his brother Gerry Holmes, and his sister Helen Duncan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Charlie lived a full and loving life, always staying close to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and the love he shared with those around him.

Marguerite “Ree” Graham passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
Mourning Ree’s passing are her sister Sara Lawson, her three children: Brian (Cathy), Wendy (Jean Landry), and Joanne Graham, her four grandsons: Nelson Landry, Rory Graham, Myles Landry (Alaska McMillan), and Eric Graham, as well as her dear friend Rosie Galicia (Dr. Iveta Jarosova). She will be deeply missed by her entire community.
Ree was known for her humor, wisdom, and generous kindness. She provided thoughtful support to those around her while ensuring they retained their dignity. A graduate of McGill University (Macdonald College) in Plant Pathology, she went on to work in the Psychiatry Department at the Ottawa General Hospital, which sparked her lifelong interest in psychology.
Ree’s love of interior design and fashion was evident in her impeccable style and beautiful home. Above all, her true legacy lies in the love and commitment she wove into her family, creating unbreakable bonds with every member.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Ree’s life on Saturday, November 30th at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home, 10 Beach Ave, Iroquois, ON, K0E 1K0. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
Todd Casselman passed away peacefully following a courageous 10-year battle with cancer, at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the age of 58. He was a loving father to Dylan Casselman (Maddie) of Cornwall and Tanner Casselman (Emily) of Westport.
Todd was the much-loved son of Ron and Linda Casselman (nee Barkley) of Williamsburg and dear brother of Traci Bailey (David) of Inverary and Mark Casselman (Lisa) of Williamsburg. He was a proud grandfather to Mason and Cade, with another grandson expected to be born in January 2025. Todd will be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Margaret Rose “Maggie” Curran (nee Rice)
September 30, 1939 – October 14, 2024
Margaret “Maggie” Curran passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the age of 85. Maggie was a beloved resident of Chesterville and the loving wife of the late Hubert Curran, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage.
Maggie was the cherished mother of Larry (Connie) of Trenton, Darlene of Chesterville, and Scott of Chesterville. She will be greatly missed by her dear sisters Betty Dillabough (late John) and Linda Skuce (late Ab), and was a much-loved grandmother to Kathleen, Melissa, James, Julie (Stephen), Andrew (Nikki), and a devoted great-grandmother to Owen, Ethan, Kaleb, Carleigh, Sophia, Finley, Chelsea, Randy, and Liam.
Predeceased by her parents, Esbon and Agnes Rice (nee Park), her brother Russell Rice, and her sisters Lois McLaughlin and Marjorie McGrory, Maggie is also survived by her nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her fondly.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Saturday, November 9th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow, and the interment of cremated remains will take place at Ormond Cemetery.
