SMITH, Diane Elizabeth - Passed away with her loving family by her side, on December 24, 2024, at the Brantford General Hospital in her 90th year. Reunited with her beloved husband William (2011) and her cherished daughter Katheryrne Smith (2018). Diane will be deeply missed by her son Mark Smith and his wife Tracy, and her grandchildren Emily and Abigail Smith.
Predeceased by her parents Arthur (1994) and Emmeline Cook (1964). Diane was a devoted and lifelong parishioner of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, where she enjoyed being involved with many church functions. She will be forever remembered by her family, church community, and friends.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff, nurses, and doctors of the Brantford General Hospital, especially those in the Emergency wing and on the Palliative Care floor. Special gratitude to Diane’s family doctor, Dr. Connelly, for compassionate care throughout the years, and to the staff at Tranquility Place Retirement Home for their constant support and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Diane’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 155 Memorial Drive, Brantford, with the date to be announced later. Private interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
If desired, donations in memory of Diane can be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church or the Brantford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

John Rajnak passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on November 13, 2024, in his 93rd year. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Elizabeth (nee Sarek), who passed in 2016.
John was a loving father “Apu” to Robert (Gloria) and Peter (Patricia). He was a proud grandfather to Chris (Stef), Julie, Laura, Paisley, Michael, and Gabrielle, and a cherished great-grandfather to Ayanna, Ava, and Leo. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family in Europe and Canada.
Family and friends will be received at McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Rd. N, Brantford, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

SEIB, Wolf Dietrich – Peacefully, surrounded by his family, in his 78th year, Dieter went home to his mom, dad, and brother Heinz on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024. Beloved husband of 17 years to Annette Seib. Loving father of Stephen and Robert (Michelle), and stepfather to Doris, Christina (Jeff), and Maryanne (Daniel). Cherished Opa and Papa to several grandchildren. Survived by his sister Patricia and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Dieter arrived in Canada from Germany at the age of 10 with his mother Emma. He spent 41 years of his career with Supremex and continued to contribute to his community as a Crossing Guard for the Brantford Police Association for 10 years. A heroic Boy Scout and a dedicated member of the Canadian German Club, Dieter touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by those fortunate to have known him.
At his request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. The family would like to express special gratitude to Dr. Singh, Lara Nichol from the Palliative Outreach Team, Geeta from Bayshore Nursing, and VON PSWs James, Robin, and Nini for their compassionate care.

Wendy June Teather
July 5, 1960 - October 18, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy June Teather on October 18, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, in her 65th year. Wendy was the beloved mother of Meaghan Green and the proud grandmother of Stryker and Alexander. She was the loving daughter of Jeanette Bell (the late Gary) and the late Vic Teather.
Wendy will be deeply missed by her brother, Stephen Teather (Bonnie), and her sister, Christine Bell, as well as her niece Jenny Teather and nephews Tyler Teather, Zachary Sakins, and Matthew Sakins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Stephen and Mable Busa. Wendy's kindness and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
