Anna Maria Koch of Hanover passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of 93. Born in Wiedergeltingen, Germany, Anna was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly, sharing her love of baking and cooking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her lively conversations and generous spirit will be dearly missed.

Marjorie A.L. Leibold (Sachs) passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in her 87th year. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Jenny) Leibold, Bruce (Manon) Leibold, Michael Leibold, Heidi Leibold, and Jason (Barbara) Leibold. Loved grandmother of Branden and Allison. She was cherished by her sisters-in-law Phillis Sachs and Joan Leibold, and several nieces, nephews, and their families.
Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold, her brother Harold Sachs, and her brother-in-law Dr. Rudy Leibold.
A private family service will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Interment will take place alongside her husband Harold in Hanover Cemetery.

Edward Franklyn Oran Plant, formerly of Hamilton, passed away after a brief diagnosis with cancer at Brightshores Health Systems in Owen Sound on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on September 9, 1953, in New Brunswick to Frank and Louise (nee Levesque) Plant, Ed lived a life full of love, laughter, and family.
Ed cherished time spent on the greens at Blackhorse Golf Course and treasured road trips and vacations with his family. He worked as a Truck Driver with Wentworth Metal Recycling and was known for his dedication and hardworking spirit.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of over 40 years, Elizabeth (nee Ernest) Plant of Hanover. Loving father to Michael (Jennifer), Cheryl (Brian), and Kayla. Special grandpa to Brody, Miranda, Sydney, and River. He is also survived by his mother, Louise Plant of New Brunswick, and his siblings Trudy (Carl) Lange, Malcolm Barclay, Francis (Guy) Assogna, and Alma (Jacques) Aubin. Ed will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, his sister Pearl (Jimmy) Barclay, and siblings Lovilos Barclay and Eldon Plant, as well as sister-in-law Janetta Barclay.
To honor Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
